Guide to buying a Cashmere Jumper

Cashmere Jumpers are one of those items of clothing that you will look at in the shop and say 'I'd love to have that Cashmere Jumper, but its just a bit too expensive.' A Cashmere Jumper is a perfect gift for someone special. It's a perfect Christmas present as it suits the time of the year well and is often nice opened in a special box, although some cashmere styles can be worn all year round. The soft luxury feel that will keep you warm and stylish at the same time.

Cashmere Jumpers are made of a soft wool called cashmere wool. They are soft, strong and light which means they keep you warm but without the jumper being too heavy and bulky.

Material - Look for 100% pure cashmere. This will ensure you get the best quality jumper which will keep you warmer compare to some cashmere jumpers that are mixed with other materials such as synthetic fibres. Usually the top brands will be slightly more expensive because they use 100% pure wool.

Style - Choose from patterned Cashmere Jumpers to Plain and simple. Often the basics will be a better buy as they won't go out of fashion so it will last you longer.

Budget - Expect to pay mid £xx to low £xxx for a decent quality jumper. This will ensure they last a long time.

You want to make sure that you get a jumper or sweater produced by a manufacturer that uses pure cashmere in making their men's cashmere jumpers or ladies cashmere jumpers. This will ensure that you have the maximum warmth and soft feel, as when cashmere is mixed with other wools or synthetic fibres in a cheaper garment you will find that it just doesn't feel as soft as the pure wool versions.

Shop Around - There are many online retailers that will stock Cashmere sweaters/jumpers. Make sure you hunt around. Don't stop there once you have found the product you like. Find a promotional code or even check to see if the store is offering cashback on one of the cashback websites.

Buying online can save you lots of money with special offers, promotions and discounts. Now is a good time to buy when there are lots of deals for last seasons stock. New season stock will be coming soon.
